Summary:
We are seeking candidates for a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship position to work at the Institute of Computing of UNICAMP, the University of Campinas (São Paulo State, Brazil). This fellowship is part of a project entitled Logistics 4.0: technologies for flexible and eco-efficient logistics, a collaboration between researchers of the University of Campinas and the University of Porto with funding from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).

Goals:
• Development of exact solution methods for Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problems with Uncertainty;
• Development of approximate, heuristics and meta-heuristics algorithms to address larger instances of the problem.

Specifications:
• The candidate must have a PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics or in a related field;
• The candidate must have finished the PhD less than seven years before the beginning of the PD fellowship;
• The candidate should demonstrate a solid background in integer programming, heuristics, and meta-heuristics;
• Knowledgement in stochastic programming is highly desirable.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship with funding from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
