Chemistry Industrial Partnerships Manager

The School of Chemistry is seeking a high calibre individual to appoint to a newly created role which aims to support and boost collaboration between Bristol Chemistry and industry, government, non-profit and healthcare institutions. The role-holder will be responsible for leading industrial engagement and post-award research management in the School of Chemistry (SoC) including co-ordination of support for research and impact activity and will proactively contribute to the School's Industrial Strategy.

In order to apply, you will need to have a good understanding and appreciation of both industrial and academic cultures and environments, as well as strong project and programme management skills, experience of research and its management and/or commercial exploitation, and good collaborative relationship-building skills. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and must be capable of working fully independently as well as part of a team. You must be qualified to degree level, preferably in science or engineering, plus significant experience in a relevant role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Chemistry in a newly developed role.
