Job Details

Do you have a research interest in the editing and performance of early modern English drama?

Would you like to join a team of researchers working to develop a scholarly edition of one of the most important playwrights of the Jacobean era?

The research fellow will work on the Oxford Edition of John Marston under the direction of the co-editors Professor Martin Butler (Leeds) and Professor Matthew Steggle (Bristol). The research fellow will help to complete the old-spelling component of the edition, currently being compiled by Dr José A. Perez Diez, for publication on the Oxford University Press Oxford Scholarly Editions Online platform. In addition, the role will involve assisting with the work of editorial checking and correction for the print edition, and liaising with other members of the editorial team.
