RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIREMENTS
- Ontwikkel en lewer akademiese inhoud op die gebied van Korporatiewe Bestuur en Sake-etiek op nagraadse vlak;
- Bied studieleiding vir nagraadse navorsing;
- Dra by tot gepubliseerde navorsing en as kongresreferate;
- Lei en bestuur die oorhoofse aktiwiteite as die hoof van die Sentrum vir Korporatiewe Bestuur in Afrika.
- Developing and delivering academic content in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics at postgraduate level;
- Supervision of postgraduate research;
- Contributing to research via publications and conference proceedings;
- Leading and managing the overall activities as head of the Centre for Corporate Governance in Africa.
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in Sake-etiek of 'n verwante dissipline, OF MBA van 'n internasionaal bekende bestuurskool met minstens tien jaar tersaaklike bedryfservaring met blootstelling aan korporatiewe bestuurskwessies;
- Bewys van navorsingspublikasies op die gebied van etiek of verwante dissiplines, asook verdere ontwikkelingspotensiaal;
- Doseerervaring op nagraadse vlak;
- Ervaring in nagraadse studieleiding;
- Lidmaatskap van en aktiewe deelname aan die aktiwiteite van tersaaklike akademiese en professionele liggame;
- Ervaring in personeel- en begrotingsbestuur in die konteks van 'n strategiese plan.
- PhD in Business Ethics or related discipline, OR MBA from an internationally reputable business school with a minimum of ten years' industry experience with exposure to governance issues;
- Evidence of publications in the field of ethics or related fields, together with further development potential;
- Lecturing experience at postgraduate level;
- Experience of supervising postgraduate students;
- Membership and participation in activities of relevant academic and professional bodies;
- Experience in managing staff and budgets in the context of a strategic plan.

- Gevestigde nasionale en internasionale navorsingsprofiel;
- Ervaring in 'n senior leierskaprol en bereidwilligheid om in sodanige rol op te tree;
- Doseerervaring by 'n internasionaal bekende bestuurskool;
- Doseerervaring in 'n aanlyn- en/of gemengdeleer-omgewing;
- Bewys van deelname aan die openbare diskoers.
- Industry network pertaining to corporate governance and business ethics;
- An established national and international research record;
- Experience in a senior leadership role and willingness to act in such a role;
- Lecturing at an internationally reputable business school;
- Lecturing in an online and/or blended learning environment;
- Evidence of engagement in the public discourse.
