Fostering Senior Practitioner - Independent Fostering Agency
£38,000 - £41,000 per annum
NonStop Care is working with an Independent Fostering Agency with a Good Ofsted in the Worcestershire area, in order to recruit for a Fostering Senior Practitioner who can join them on a permanent basis.
The Senior Practitioner will be joining a very nice working environment. The IFA is well established and they are not too large, as they want to keep the family feel. They now have around 50 fostering households and each Supervising Social Worker has a protected caseload of 8.
You will be part of a therapeutic IFA, using a therapeutic parenting approach. They are the first IFA to e DDP certified by the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Institute and prides itself on being an ethical fostering agency which truly puts the needs of children first.
The Senior Practitioner in this role will:
- help manage day to day operations in the agency
- deputise for the Registered Manager
- provide support to reduced caseload of foster carers
Please apply if you are a Senior Supervising Social Worker or a Senior Practitioner and if you have experience in fostering. Ideally you must have experience in therapeutic parenting and a good understanding of the fostering legislation.
