Role: Associate Director - Contaminated Land

Location: Warrington or Leeds

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

I am currently recruiting for an Associate / Director Level Geo-Environmental specialist in either Warrington or Leeds.

The successful candidate would manage the day to day operations of a team of geo-environmental scientists to provide integrated environmental, geotechnical and waste management solutions for brownfield land development clients.

Core Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

• Reporting to the Brownfield Land Technical Director
• Management of a team within the Brownfield Land Section
• Understanding of contaminated land assessment including DQRA
• Liaison with geotechnical and waste management experts within the Section
• Project management and technical delivery of projects
• Mentoring and training junior staff
• Checking/reviewing reports
• Assist with business development, effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and outside agencies

The projects would be for a diverse range of clients including those from the commercial, residential, industrial, waste and quarrying industries; main contractors, remediation contractors and local government institutions.
