My Client is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for the position of Project Manager - Technology Transfer within their global medical diagnostics and therapeutics area. Ideally the candidate should have solid knowledge and experience in Project Management, GMP experience in Technology transfer and product management.
My client is looking for a candidate who is well motivated, is passionate about Project management within the Medical Devices and Therapeutics field and can see themselves in the company for the long term. A person who can be a real leader, who is not afraid to oversee a successful technology transfer in overseas countries. This role will require the candidate to be seconded to my client's sites outside of Europe for a period of 3 to 4 months primarily in North America (USA & Canada).

Requirements:
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Inhabit a strategic, cross-location and cross-functional key position for the technical project management of a site-to-site transfer from their German site to their new North American (US & CAN) sites
- Act as a key expert for technical matters to lead your transfer and project management process with their unique combination of GMP and radiation protection areas
- Work with matrix responsibility for an interdisciplinary team including but not limited to Business Leadership, QA, QC, and RA
- Communicate within the project team and between giving and receiving facilities, report and follow-up on project milestones and align the project team on the project goal
Skills and experience
- Graduation from a German or foreign institution of University level education preferably in Life Science
- At least 5 years of professional GMP experience in technology transfer, strategic project management and product management
- Further practical experience in the field of Manufacturing or Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs & R&D is a PLUS
- Proficient in MS Office
- Willingness to travel internationally, mostly to their North American (US & CAN) partners. (Approx. 25%)
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- High degree of communication and organisational skills
