NonStop Consulting is working with a growing and well-known pharmaceutical firm. They have been massively expanding their operations in Europe and as a part of this continuous process they're opening a new role - Head of Market Research for Europe. The person should be ideally based in Munich area Germany, but there is a possibility to be located in England, Spain, or Italy.

This is an excellent chance to assume a top senior position where you will grow the the department and contribute massively to the firm's success in Europe. It make a great impact on your professional profile in general while also giving you an interesting challenge which can elevate your expertise.

Within this position, you will be capable to make a real impact on the development of the firm in Europe. It's a role which carries a lot of responsibility, thus we're searching for motivated candidates who can understand the importance of their activities. It's an excellent possibility for driven professionals who want to be more visible within their organisation and undertake higher level of responsibilities.

Your activities will include:

  • Conduct market assessments through analysis
  • Conduct research on market entry possibilities
  • Identify potential technology and market opportunities to complement existing assets through market research
  • Provide input on alliances and partnership possibilities
  • Provide weekly reporting on overall performance and market trends as well as analytics that provide insightful and objective commentary
  • Develop and maintain effective information systems to monitor market share of the products and company to meet the reporting requirements of performance objectives and track market performance
  • Develop and maintain effective systems and processes to monitor and collate competitor information from all appropriate sources to optimize the quality of planning and implementation to drive performance

Your profile:

  • Direct European markets knowledge and experience
  • Analytical skills with demonstrated experience in extracting valuable insights from external market trends and patterns
  • Previously experience in Strategic Planning, Pipeline Analysis and Market Research
  • Experienced with analysis of secondary data and syndicated databases.
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office
  • BS degree in Biotechnology, Statistics, Healthcare or Marketing
  • 10+ years of proven market research analysis experience and must be comfortable working with scientific concepts, especially pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical data sources
  • Experience working with CRM data systems like Salesforce, Cognos, Veeva, etc
  • Ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to meet demanding timelines
