My client is recruiting a Customer Technical Support for their Belgian office. Requirements:

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support to internal and external customers.
    * Interacting with instrument service, customer service and sales department.
    * Managing necessary documentation with the customers.
    * Deciding and managing the exchange of products concerned by quality issues.
    * Providing practical troubleshooting in the workshop or office lab.
    * Keeps customer database up to date and logging each customer contact/interaction.
    * Raising cases and informing service about upcoming work orders.

Qualifications:

  • Scientific degree, preferably PhD in biology/life science and experience in research.
    * Fluency in Dutch and English, knowledge of French or another European language is an advantage.
    * Good telephone, administrative and organisational skills.
    * Very good communication and inter-personal, customer-oriented skills
    * Ability to work independently and affinity for team work.
    * Customer service experience, laboratory experience and experience with Life Science industry products.
