Job Details

My client is specialized in providing full statistical and data science services in the pharmaceutical industry. This ranges from protocol to reporting and clinical trial simulations to risk modelling and efficiency improvement in the product lifecycle. My client is leader in Quality by Design methodology and a recognised expert in the practical application of Bayesian statistics. Currently they are looking for a (senior) manager in Statistics & Pharmacometrics. This opportunity offers you the chance to work on multiple statistical projects in the niche field of Pharmacometrics. Not only will you further develop your technical skills, you will also gain a lot of business development skills in this role boosting your profile on the market a lot!

As a (senior) manager in Statistics & Pharmacometrics you will operate in a team of experts responsible for implementing and executing methodological and statistical aspects of clinical studies and non-clinical projects. Your main responsibilities will be; clinical trials simulations and predictions; preparation of modelling and simulation plans; designs optimisation; conducting statistical analyses and performing Quality Control; interpretation of analyses and writing of reports; communication with customers about statistical and pharmacokinetic analysis opportunities; proposing and applying Bayesian and adaptive designs for clinical trials; promoting and implementing state-of-the-art pharmacometric modelling; participation in software development; speaking at conferences and write scientific papers.

What we are looking for:

  • PhD degree in statistics required
  • Good experience with SAS, R or STAN programming
  • Knowledge in applied PK/PD including non linear mixed-effect modelling and ODE systems
  • Knowledge in Bayesian statistics is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare industry is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills

  • A team player
