Advanced Practitioner - Family Drug and Alcohol Court

NonStop' s client is a local authority on the improvement journey who after their most resent Ofsted have been shown to have displayed massive improvements, based near the sea side who are looking for an Advanced Practitioner as well as an Social Worker for their Family Drug and Alcohol Court service.

The main focus for the service is to deliver a therapeutic problem-solving court model approach, which offers an alternative to standard care proceedings where drug and alcohol misuse is a key contributing factor.

FDAC provides a problem solving and restorative approach to care proceedings, which aims to improve the outcomes for families by helping parents change the lifestyles that have put their children at risk of harm.

We are looking Advanced Practitioner & Social Workers who are motivated and can deliver services to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child and young person.

What would make you stand out:

• Ability to manage a complex workload and challenging cases with knowledge, skills, experience and sensitivity.

• Have an increased level of autonomy and decision making with the aim of influencing all levels of the service.
• Undertake comprehensive multi-disciplinary assessments with families to identify the needs of the children, young people and parents.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team (on an individual and group work basis) to deliver interventions to meet the identified needs of children, families, parents and carers.

Applicants will need to be a Qualified Social Worker Registered with Social Work England and have substantial experience working with children and families in social work.
