My client is a global innovative automotive firm which has implemented a new solution to tackle emission-related issues in the industry. The company is looking to boost its sales of this product in Southern Germany (Bavaria & Baden-Württemberg) by hiring 2 Area Sales Managers who will work with the local dealer network of BMW, Daimler and Volvo.

By taking on this position you will be able to make a strong impact on the adoption of technology which impacts emissions made by cars. The solution you will be selling to dealerships will make a difference to people who don't want to lose their cars because their engine doesn't get approval from EURO 6 regulations. The product is innovative and it provides a win-win situation for both dealerships and drivers.

The role is highly commercial, meaning that you can earn a considerable amount of money if your performance is good. The product has received approvals and certifications and should be highly interesting for the market. This will give you the chance to take advantage of that opportunity and capitalise massively.

Your activities will include:

  • Developing and establishing partnerships and long-term customer relationships with Volvo, Daimler and BMW authorised dealers.
  • Conduct all aspects of business development and sales, from the first contact to the establishment and maintenance of a close relationship management.
  • Management of projects from the inquiry to the final offer and contract.
  • Sales related coordination and coordination with other departments, especially development, project management, purchasing, after sales & controlling.
  • Being based on the field and travelling regularly within your area
  • and more.

Your profile:

  • Experience in a Sales / Business Development role within the Automotive industry in Germany
  • Experience with selling a technical product is an advantage
  • You're based in Bavaria (Bayern) or Baden-Württemberg
  • Native German language skills and good English skills
  • You're highly driven by making deals and creating long-term relationships with customers
  • Willing to travel within your area regularly
