Team Manager - Looked After Children/Permanency - Assistant Team Managers Considered

Pay Rate up to £49,500

NonStop's client, a Local Authority based near Richmond, is looking for Team Manager who can join their Looked After Children Team on a permanent basis. They are offering a support package to enable Assistant Team Managers or Senior Practitioners to step into management. You will also work alongside very experienced Team Managers that will also be there to support the new Manager.

Requirements:

• Social work Qualification
• Management/Supervisory experience of a children and families social work teams
• Social Work England Registration

As a Team Leader in Looked After Children/ Permanency, you will:

• Management oversight of at least 4 social workers who have a diverse and complex caseload
• Providing expert guidance to team members and other professionals. Contribute to, and support the development of best practice, including use of audit and quality assurance measures and delivery of training
• Empower team members to develop their knowledge, skill and confidence
