Kingston College was graded 'good' by Ofsted in 2020. A key part of the College's provision is delivered by the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Professional.

The School is broken down into sections, of which Computing is one and it incorporates many facets of computing - Database, programming, networking etc. Its courses range from level two to Higher National Diploma. It has a long and successful track record in providing high quality training, working with a large number of employers and training organisations.

Within the role, you will teach to both HE and FE vocational courses related to computing, predominately on vocational Level 3/4 programmes. A key focus is helping the Head of Section ensure that your students meet and exceed their target grades. The role encompasses working on teaching schemes, assessment schedules (including coursework) and student monitoring.

So, if you have energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education, then we would love to hear from you!

With a Degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject, you will have excellent teaching skills and the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners including monitoring their progress. Hardworking and flexible, you will have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and be able to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines.
