Due to the increase of referrals with NonStop's client near 'English Riviera', there has been a number of adults social work positions become available. Experienced Qualified Social Workers would be undertaking Social Care Assessments to support hospital discharge under the Care Act 2014 and S117 of the Mental Health Act.

Requirements for the role:

  • Professional Social Work Qualification
  • Social Work England registration
  • Extensive social work experience within Mental Health
  • Access to vehicle

This will include creating social care action plans and applications to panel for funding and any related safeguarding work if necessary. You will have access to Multi-disciplinary Team input and support from both the social work team and the ward teams but be line managed by a dedicated social work / social care team manager.

As they place a high priority on a healthy work / life balance, this allows for more focused and effective working patterns as well as happier staff, you will be able to lean on the service for support and have your managers ear when looking to work from home.
