My client, a leading Irish Healthcare company, is recruiting a Surgical Area Manager to cover Western and Midlands parts of Ireland. Representing the client, you would be interacting with numerous clinical customers throughout the country, expanding your professional network, and making your mark in the industry. Additionally, this role would provide you with the opportunity to work independently and have the freedom in executing your tasks and responsibilities.


Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating, presenting and securing the orders.
    * Proactively seeking new opportunities and converting them to sales.
    * Reaching the target of quarterly and annual sales plans.
    * Providing the customers with technical, clinical and commercial support.
    * Collecting, presenting and evaluating the information on competitors and the market.
    * Providing feedback for the betterment of the company and the products.
    * Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility.
    * Attending relevant conferences and industry meetings.


  • 3 or more years of medical sales experience within a hospital environment with clinical background as an advantage.
    * Being comfortable with working in operating theatres.
    * Being target driven with developed communication and sales skills.
    * Commercial awareness, ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
    * Education and practical experience to deal with the medical device technologies in a clinical background.
    * Proficiency with all general business computer tools and applications.
    * Full driver's license.
