Contextual Safeguarding Manager

A Local Authority based in the London region is seeking an experienced Team Manager to take the lead of their specialist CSE team.

Highlights:

This is an excellent opportunity to take the reigns of a specialist and innovative team which has been setup to work with service users between 11 - 17 that maybe at risk of exploitation. You will be managing a small and stable team which uses a range of innovative approaches to help tackle issues around Gangs and Exploitation and you will have the opportunity to use your experience to further the development of the team.

The teams role is highly focused and work closely with external agencies in order to support vulnerable Young people that maybe at risk of these issues. They also provided a preventive service which aims to engage with this service user group to prevent them being looked after by the Local Authority

This team has reported a high level of success, which was highlighted during the authorities last inspection. Furthermore the team certainly contributed to the overall Outstanding result achieved by Childrens services.

To be considered for this post you should have extensive experience working with this service user group. You should also have management experience
