Life Cycle Engineer - Relocation to Switzerland
Job Summary:
Are you looking to relocate to Switzerland to develop your career as a Medical Device engineer?
My client is recruiting a Life Cycle Engineer to support their hi-tech products. They are an exciting start-up company with a huge growth potential based on their ground-breaking implantable devices and treatment technologies. Position is based in Zurich, a true industry hub, which is an attractive location to further evolve your career as a Medical Device Engineer coupled with a home office flexibility that is provided in this position. Role is suitable for the international professionals, as English is the working language in addition to the possibility of working remotely depending on the situation. Working within the company would enable you to specialise in a niche area of the Medical Device industry, allowing you to gain knowledge and valuable experience in the field. Huge upside of the products is also based on the lack of competitors on the market.
Requirements:
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Focus on the Life Cycle management of the company's products.
* Writing and compiling technical documentation.
* Change management, requirements definition and documentation, testing procedures and verification activities.
* Project management and coordination, both externally and internally.
* Failure root-cause analysis of returned products, non-conformities and devices under testing procedures.
* Close and efficient collaboration with colleagues, members of other departments of the company as well as with consultants supporting projects
Qualifications:
- Bio medical Engineering education preferred, with Material Science or Mechanical Engineering as secondary options.
* 2+ years of experience working with, ideally, active implantable devices, or alternatively class II devices.
* Experience with technical documentation related to the life cycle and development process.
* High attention to detail.
* Very good communication and inter-personal skills.
* Language Skills - excellent written and verbal command of English.
* Eligibility to work in Switzerland.
