Job Details
Project Title: Corridor Talk: Conservation Humanities and the Future of Europe's National Parks
This joint-funded DFG/AHRC research project is co-led by Professor Graham Huggan, (Principal Investigator (PI), School of English, University of Leeds) and Dr Katie Ritson (LMU Munich).
Featuring six researchers attached to either Leeds or Munich, the project aims to apply interdisciplinary perspectives derived from an emerging field, conservation humanities, to consider the past, present and future of four of Europe's most iconic national parks. Although the position is nominally attached to the School of English (the PI's home School), it requires a record of cross-disciplinary scholarship with a PhD in an environmentally oriented area and good knowledge of the conservation and/or environmental humanities fields.
You will be expected to do independent work related to the main themes and objectives of the project, to provide research assistance to the Principal Investigator, and to work with other members of the research team in fulfilling duties in accordance with the DFG/AHRC award.
