Seeking Post-Doctoral Fellows

We are seeking highly motivated research fellows intending to pursue a career in rehabilitation research. Positions are available to trainees who have received doctoral degrees and wish to pursue clinical, translational, and/or basic science research in rehabilitation medicine. Strong candidates will have either publications or publishable theses. Physician candidates should at the minimum have some experience with research. The fellows will join a collaborative group of scientists who pursue research across a range of rehabilitation medicine disciplines: Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Musculoskeletal Injury, and Chronic Pain. These Harvard Medical School post-doctoral appointments will offer mentoring and educational commitments to foster continued development for the trainee to pursue research in these areas. Mentors can be chosen from among the core research faculty.  Positions are made on an annual basis with reappointment for a second-year contingent upon sufficient progress in the first year.  A minimum 2-year commitment is preferred. Amount of award is dependent on the applicant’s experience and follows NIH guidelines for stipend levels, $1,000 in travel funds and affiliated health insurance, tuition and fees.
