General Purpose

mthree has developed a best in class hire, train, and deploy program that build's pipelines of custom trained, Next-Generation IT talent for Global, Blue Chip companies. We hire top STEM grads, put them through a client customized IT training program, and deploy them out to our clients on a contract to hire basis.
Role
The Engagement Team sits within our Emerging Talent Operations Team and is responsible for the pastoral care and performance management of the Alumni graduate population in Montreal. The Engagement Manager will be responsible for the life cycle of Alumni graduates within their own client group, from the moment they are given an offer to the moment they convert to the client and beyond, maintaining good relationships for the future benefit of MThree. The role will also require facilitation with other stakeholders to ensure adequate support and resources are available for their Alumni graduates, as well as assisting with quarterly Alumni events. The role reports into the Head of Alumni Engagement. Responsibilities
  • Point of contact for their own client group of Alumni graduates
  • Responsible for engagement management through the Alumni experience life cycle. Including:
    • Making sure each Alumni is contacted during their first week on-site and met during the first month.
    • Meeting with each Alumni every quarter thereafter.
    • Holding a performance review after the Alumni's first 6 months, 12 months and 18 months on site while ensuring Salesforce compliance
    • Liaising with HR and/ or client line manager on any learning and development, performance management or employee relations as required.
    • Attending the conversion meeting with the Alumni when they have completed their two years on site.
  • Liaise with any internal client main point of contact for the Alumni they have on site to make sure program running smoothly internally.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Universities that partnering with MThree in Quebec region (participating to events, networking, increase mthree visibility)
  • 100% compliance on Salesforce.com, keeping all relevant records up to date and notes on all meetings.
  • Responsible for creating a strong and empathetic relationships with all alumni graduates.
  • Liaise with the HR Associate responsible for Alumni in escalating any employee relations, engagement, training or other related issues.
  • Assisting with the planning, organization and running of quarterly events, ensuring they're on budget and well attended
Essential, Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of performance management and employee engagement.
  • Fully computer literate.
  • Self-motivated and innovative.
  • Have some experience of client management and advising on some people issues in conjunction with the HR Team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organized and assertive.
  • Knowledge or awareness of HR processes and practices, specifically performance management and employment relations.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Ability to influence and persuade and manage difficult conversations.
  • High levels of confidentiality.
  • Good Financial Products knowledge across investment banking and the wider financial services sector (preferable, but not necessary)
  • Must measure personal success by successful delivery by the whole team
  • Fluency in English and French

Essential and Preferred Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in business or another related industry highly desirable.
• Membership of a recognized relevant accredited body is highly desirable.
