Job Details
1 PhD student position available to develop his/her Thesis within the frame of a Spanish Government fellowship (FPI grant, up to 48 months and full-time contract).
The offer is adressed to Engineers and Physicists who are entitled to enroll in a PhD program at the University of Zaragoza (further information in Requirements). Immediate start.
Field of work:
- Liquid fuel combustion optimization.
- Focus on difficult-to-burn, alternative fuels and bio-fuels.
- Experimental and modeling work on liquid combustion:
o Experiments at different scales: Single Droplet Combustion Facility, Semi-Industrial Furnace.
o Numerical and theoretical modeling.
- In the framework of several research projects.
What we offer:
- Full-time contract, up to 48 months.
- Develop your Thesis in a team with intense R&D activity.
- Collaboration with companies and other research groups.
- Possibility to conduct part of the Thesis in foreign centers.
Requirements:
- Engineering or Physics graduates with good academic record.
- Comply with the requirements to access a PhD program at the University of Zaragoza (minimum of 60 ECTS in MSc.).
- Good English or Spanish communication skills.
