Qualified Social Worker Required - Child Exploitation Service

NonStop's client, a local authority based in North East London is looking for a permanent Social Worker for its Exploitation Service. The team was created in 2018 - their was a understanding that there was too much focus on service users within the home and not on their lives outside of it, there was a growth of CSE/Gangs and young people going missing within the authority so the new service was created. If you are looking for a role where you can specialise this could be perfect.

This is a multi-agency role whereby you will be working alongside a small close knit team with different areas of expertise, if you are looking to develop your experience this could be ideal. Caseloads are capped due to the complex nature of the work ensuring you are able to provide a high standard of work, thus giving you more job satisfaction.

Ideally Candidates will need to be confident with hands on work and be passionate about their work, your role will be to befriend and gain the trust of young people who have suffered significant trauma and are heavily indoctrinated within gangs, also candidates who are focused on the end goals and can use outside agencies effectively to get the best results if they cannot gain rapport with the young person that's why effective use of a care plan is so key.

This role comes with a salary of up to £36,711 with recruitment and retention bonuses potentially up to £3000 per year.
