Principal Social Worker/Assistant Team Manager needed - Youth Justice - £39.00 hourly - Wales

I am currently working with a Local Authority within the Mid/North Wales region as they seek to take on an experienced Principal Social Worker/ATM within their Youth Justice Service.

The service works with young people aged 10 to 17 who have been involved in offending behaviour. YJS includes staff from social services, education, police, probation and health.

The YJS supervise young people who have been referred by the police, or sentenced by the youth court.

What they can offer you:

  • Competitive hourly rate - Up to £39.00 hourly DOE.
  • An opportunity to gain supervisory experience and build on your management skills if this is the route you wish to take.
  • Flexible working - Some work can be completed from home (But you must be willing to travel/stay within the Mid/North Wales area)

Telephone interviews are being conducted this week so if you're interested then please send across an application ASAP or call me for details.

If you would like to have a catch up regarding this opportunity or wish to have a confidential chat then please get in touch with Liam Woods on 0207 940 2100. Due to high demand this role is unlikely to remain on the market for long.

Alternatively if you're not looking, you may know a colleague who might be able to benefit from knowing about these positions and I offer a referral bonus of £200 if I place your referral
