Junior Account Manager - Ambitious Hunter Needed!

For a fast-growing start-up specialized in medical imaging we are looking for a Junior Account Manager based in the South of Belgium. The company is established with a talented team and new technology. The future plans are very ambitious and there will be opportunities to relocate abroad which is a great opportunity for a ambitious person like you!

As a junior account manager you will be responsible for driving business development and sales activities within pharma in a specific territory. You will represent the company within these accounts, build & maintain customer relationships, insert new projects in new accounts and expand business with existing customers.

Your responsibilities would be:

  • Maintain the existing customer portfolio & identified business to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales. Prospect for new customers & opportunities.
  • Connect with key decision makers (drug lead, clinical lead) in pharma organizations, clinics, and private practices.
  • Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating capabilities on assigned products and services in assigned territory. In close collaboration with the pre-sales team.
  • Sales negotiation and deal closure with customers

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in life sciences with an additional degree in business (or equivalent knowledge or experience)
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region with overnight stays depending on geography and business needs
  • Fluent in English, French is and advantage.
