Adult Transplant Hepatologist position in New Orleans, LA

The Transplant Institute and the Department of Medicine, at the School of Medicine, Tulane University, New Orleans seeks candidates for a Transplant Hepatologist. Faculty rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, in the non-tenure clinical educator track.

Qualified candidates:

Must be board certified/eligible in Hepatology 

Eligible for an unrestricted Louisiana Medical License

Expertise is required in the specific area of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Liver Transplantation.

Successful candidates will be expected to serve as an attending on Hepatology and Liver Transplant services and possess excellent teaching and clinical skills. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Tulane medical students, residents and fellows. Clinical responsibilities may include clinical care that specializes in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation and may be required to provide these services at the Tulane Medical Center, University Medical Center of New Orleans and Lakeview Regional Medical Center. Research or Scholarship responsibilities may include working in the field of Hepatology and Liver Transplantation.
