Registered Manager: Children's Home, Nottingham
The ideal candidates will have:
+A relevant Social Work qualification; CQSW, Dip S/W, CSS, Degree, NVQ5, ILM or RMA
+A minimum of 3 years experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years
+A minimum of 1 year of the above experience being within supervision or management
+Thorough knowledge of Learning Disabilities and Childhood Development
+Up to date knowledge of Child Care Legislation, Government Guidance, and Best Practise
Strong candidates for this role will be effective leaders that know how to communicate and motivate staff, providing important leadership presence and support, acting as role models for both staff and the children and young people in service. The role will require the ability to identify key areas of improvement within the service and implement changes.
This is a full time, 37.5 hour a week, permanent post.
