Home based & Dedicated Court Work Post

A Local Authority based in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their dedicated Court Work team.

Highlights:

  • This is a home based post within a dedicated Court team
  • You will be working with Children & Families who are going through the Court Process
  • The majority of cases are for children who are looked after, in placements or with parent
  • You will have the opportunity to work with multi agency services including CAFCASS and Legal Services.
  • The Local Authority uses Relationship Based Practice and there is a real emphasis to work and engage with service users and their families at every opportunity
  • Local Authority received a Good Ofsted

    • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to take on a specific post, which will focus around the Court arena. This is predominantly a home based post where you will only be required to attend Court when necessary, providing a high degree of flexibility and autonomous.

    The service is a high performing service and uses a relationship based approach to try and engage with service users and their families. There is an emphasis on early help and enabling families to work in partnership with universal and targeted services where safe to do so.
