Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Coordinator (Information Technology).

Responsibilities

You will be assisting the Informatics team of Radiology Department and responsible for coordinating Information Technology (IT) related activities, which includes:
  • providing support in managing PACS (Clinical Imaging), VRS (Speech to Text), RIS (Radiology Information System) and other Radiology specific services and applications.
  • managing and tracking IT related assets.
  • monitoring and resolving IT related issues in coordination with the IT division, Bio-medical department and other services within Radiology Department.
  • supporting computer hardware, hardware resources, Windows OS and PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) activities.
  • monitoring functionalities of tele-radiology reporting and remote consultations.
  • working with Information Service Desk (ISD), network engineers and BioMedical teams for software integration and operations of Radiology IT systems.
  • coordinating with end users to determine workflow requirements and translating the requirements into PACS operational parameter.
  • monitoring Key Performance Indicators and related reports in VRS and dependent RIS functions.
  • training and orienting healthcare providers for IT systems on need basis.
  • providing IT support services to other sites on need basis.


Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized institution. Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or One-year diploma in I.T will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in healthcare IT in a tertiary care hospital.
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills to understand radiology end-user requirements.
  • Flexibility to work beyond office hours as per need basis
