Thermoplastic Hotmelts Specialist - Product Development

For one of our clients, one of the best known companies in the chemical industry, we are currently looking for a Product Development Scientist ( Thermoplastic Hotmelt ) to join their German entity.

It is a team leading role where you will be responsible for 3 high qualified specialists. You can use your management talent and coordination skills in order to make your team successful.

With its innovative products and excellent reputation within the industry, our client offers you exceptional exposure to the global industry and fast career progression.

Your profile :

  • University degree in Chemistry, preferably in Polymer Chemistry
  • Formulating experience in thermoplastic hotmelt adhesives
  • Experience in project management
  • English and German (optional)

You daily tasks will include :

  • Technical lead of product development and product optimization projects of thermoplastic hotmelts
  • Industrialisation of new products, scale up and market introduction of new developed products
  • Project management
  • Maintenance of existing product portfolio
  • Scouting for new raw materials and technical approaches in order to satisfy market and customer requirements
  • Development of new characterisation methods
