My client is company that develops diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclides and raddidopharmaceuticals and distributes them worldwide.

Their products are used for a new generation of targets cancer diagnosis and therapy in the field of precision Oncology.

To strengthen their team in Garching bei München, they are looking for a Radiation Protection Technician.

Your tasks:

  • Collaboration in operational radiation protection as radiation protection officer with the main focus on environmental monitoring (dose, contamination, exhaust air) and release measurements
  • Collaboration in administrative radiation protection with focus on local and personal dosimetry, radiation passports and release procedures
  • Organisation and supervision of the dispatch, receipt and transport of radioactive materials
  • Monitoring and cooperation in the classification and disposal of residual materials
  • Procurement, maintenance and recurrent testing of measuring instruments in radiation protection
  • Support of external companies within our control areas
  • Support in the areas of occupational safety, fire protection or property security

Your profile:

  • Completed technician/master training with focus on physics, chemistry, environmental protection or comparable
  • Possession of S4.2 and/or S8 technical qualification is advantageous
  • Health suitability for working in radiation protection areas
  • Willingness to work shifts in a two-shift system
  • Very good German language skills in spoken and written
