60%

At the Law Faculty of the University of Basel, a 60% position is to be filled as a research assistant to Prof. Christopher Geth, professorship for criminal law, on February 1, 2021 or by agreement.

Your tasks
  • Participation in publications and reports; possibly own publications in the form of articles in specialist journals etc.
  • Writing a dissertation in criminal law or criminal procedure law
  • Support for the holder of the professorship in teaching; If necessary, implementation of introductory seminars
  • general administrative department duties


your profile
  • good degree; very good grades in criminal law; Eligibility for doctoral studies
  • Skill in written expression, precise way of thinking and working, independence
  • Willingness to work irregularly in the context of teaching and research
  • High level of commitment
  • Good computer skills (especially Office)
  • Foreign language skills are an advantage
