Deputy Manager for a Home Rated Good by Ofsted

NonStop's client is a national charity supporting children and young adults with complex learning disabilities and additional communication and physical needs from across the UK. We provide care and education, for children and young adults from 3-25 years. They are seeking a Deputy Manager for this children services based in Cheadle.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• QCF Level 4/5 Leadership and Management in Residential Care or equivalent
• Extensive experience of working with children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs
• Experience of managing a care setting
• knowledge of Ofsted Quality Standards in Children's Homes

The service provision is divided into two hubs of three houses - 12 children and young people in each designated hub. Reporting to the Registered Manager and working alongside another Assistant Manager, the role will undertake the day to day operational support of the individual hubs and delegated houses. There is a dedicated House Manager and staff team of Child Support Workers (day and night staff) in each home, and the Service has approximately 100 staff.
