Job Details

The School of Economics at the University of Bristol is seeking to fill several academic posts with high calibre staff as a result of growth in our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

We are looking to appoint Lecturers (Assistant Professors in Economics) who will contribute to our strong economics research profile and who show a commitment to excellent teaching.

Applicants should have a strong research background with evidence of an ability to publish in the very top international economic journals, and an aptitude to teach to the highest standards at both Undergraduate and Masters level.

They should have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in Economics or a related discipline by the post start date (September 2021).

The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 29th November. We will be doing preliminary online interviews via the European Job Market. Arrangements for flyouts in January/ February will be finalised in due course.
