Completely Home Based Post in a Through Care team

This is an excellent opportunity which would be suited to an experienced Social Worker that specialises in working with Looked After Children

Highlights:

• This is a completely home based position and you will received all equipment by post to enable you to carry out virtual visits/meetings
• Due to the home-based nature of the post you will not have to worry about time spent travelling giving you more time in the morning and evenings contributing to a healthier work-life balance
• You will have the option to work a condensed week - working your hours across 4 days.
• The Through Care team work with service users between 0 - 14 years old who are Looked After by the Authority.
• The Local Authority has implemented Signs of Safety and uses a Strength based approach in order to achieve best outcomes.
• This post will see you work closely with the Fostering service.
• Caseloads are around 15-18 children
• Pay rates are up to £35/Hr

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a role which will be completely home based offering a significantly higher degree to autonomously whilst contributing to a much healthier work life balance as you don't need to worry about travelling to work or visits. Furthermore all visit are being done virtually and all equipment required to do the job will be delivered to your address.

The team work with service users between 0 - 14 who are Looked After by the Local Authority in placements or have left care to help provide support so that they have the best possible opportunities.
