Job Summary:

My client, an industry-leading company, is recruiting a Sales Manager to grow the Benelux market and manage the European distributor network. If you are looking for an opportunity to gain experience managing an international territory and develop your team-leading skills, this is a perfect role for you. IVD market is in rapid development and, in this position, you would be dealing with the latest technologies in the Diagnostic field, growing your professional network backed by quality products. Requirements:

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Establishing a plan that aligns the drive and enthusiasm of the sales team with business strategy.
    * Ensuring implementation of operational plans, tracking progress and taking action to meet annual performance goals.
    * Scheduling and attending customer visits to develop regional sales, while managing territory sales and quotation pipeline.
    * Developing relevant relationships by telephone, email and face-to-face visits.
    * Developing and managing distributors network in Europe.
    * Targeting new opportunities and identifying leads, keeping the client database updated.
    * Identifying, developing and managing key accounts for long-term sales growth.
    * Cooperating with other departments relevant to the sales process.

Qualifications:

  • Molecular biology educational background, lab experience within Molecular Biology.
    * Experience in the Molecular Diagnostics is an advantage.
    * At least 5 years of proven sales experience.
    * People management experience.
    * Organized and independent individual with a proactive personality and acute business sense.
    * Trilingual: English & Dutch, French.
    * Developed sales and communication skills.
    * Flexibility: 60-70% travel required across the territory.
