Assessment Social Worker - Caseload of 13-16 Children

To be shortlisted for an interview you will need the follow:

• Social Work England Registeration
• Social Work Qualification
• Extensive experience as a Qualified Social Worker
• Completed an ASYE
• Knowledge/Experience of Section 47s, Core Assessment, Safeguarding and Referral & Assessments

Their transformation has seen early help triage and our newly formed edge of care pod brought into the front door service area. The long-term social work teams have successfully embedded the Family Safeguarding Model and want to replicate these successes in a bespoke and enhanced manner within our Assessment Team.

This local authority is focused on reducing caseloads for all. You will be part of a team of social workers, each carrying a caseload between 13-16 children not families. This will allow you to regularly supervise and develop you team effectively, in order for you to make a difference for the service users.

The team predominately undertakes child in need assessments (Single Assessments) and child protection assessments (Section 47's) using a range of child and adult tools to enhance our analyses, to measure change and to design short, medium or long-term interventions.
