The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate's employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.

The Business School invites applications for a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor position in Business Analytics. The position is open to candidates wishing to pursue either a balanced teaching/research role (where there is an expectation the candidate can demonstrate the ability to produce high quality research as well as teach into both undergraduate and postgraduate courses) or a teaching specialist role (where the candidate needs to show evidence of high quality teaching at all tertiary levels).

The Adelaide Business School has a stimulating multidisciplinary learning environment that fosters the pursuit of leadership and excellence in both research and education. It is an AACSB accredited business school offering a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the core discipline areas of accounting, finance, international business, management and marketing, as well as a suite of MBA programs. The Business School also offers high quality research programs at the honours, masters and PhD level.

To be successful you will need:
  • A PhD in Business Analytics or a related business field.
  • A commitment to excellence in teaching and demonstrated experience teaching relevant units/courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • For the research & teaching position: A proven track record in publishing in leading business analytics journals and/or other business-related journals.
  • High-level skills in coding and handling large business-related databases.
  • Ability to undertake academic administrative functions, including strategic or other similar planning processes, including willingness to be involved in the school's international programs.
