The role
We are seeking outstanding individuals with an interest in Restorative Dentistry who will take part in developing education at an undergraduate (BDS) level, as well as the potential opportunity to contribute to postgraduate education in the School. We are seeking to appoint up to 3.0FTE open ended posts (full time, part-time/job-share). There are also additional posts available full time, part-time/job share fixed term for up to 18 months.
What will you be doing?
You will be expected to participate fully in teaching undergraduate dental students on clinics and in the Clinical Skills settings. Dental students begin clinical work in the 2nd year and continue through to the final BDS exam at the end of the 5th year.
You should apply if
You are well organised, enthusiastic and have a keen interest in team training and integrated teaching. You will be part of a strong cohesive team of staff and will play a significant part in the launch of the new BDS 21 curriculum.
You must be fully registered with the General Dental Council and hold BDS or equivalent.
The available post is available at Bristol Dental School / Hospital, but you may be required to travel to South Bristol Community Hospital.
