COVID19 Prototyping Senior Engineer (Level 4)

Job Purpose: COVID-19 Prototyping Technician

Are you a technician, engineer, hacker, or spare-time-tinkerer?

We need you!

We're rapidly prototyping newer, faster, left-field ways of speeding up COVID-19 testing. We urgently need practical-minded people to adapt off-the-shelf and custom robotics/mechatronics/automation systems, and run test samples through them at volume to... try and break them.

Previous experience in a biological lab would be great. Experience of liquid-handling robots, inventory control systems, or industrial process automation would be desirable.

• Temporary assignments offered through UniWorkforce are casual roles. The start and end dates specified are the expected dates but these can change without notice and there is no guarantee of work for the duration of the assignment and no notice period required on either side. Please ask us for further details regarding this if it is a concern for you.
• Temporary workers are paid a month in arrears. Pay day is on the last working day of each month. This means that, depending on your start date, it could be up to eight weeks before you receive your first payment.
• To be eligible to apply you need to be immediately available. Interviews will take place before assignments are offered.
• The above assignments are open to all. Prior to starting in the assignment it is necessary to register with UniWorkforce and show both Visa and Passport documents to confirm your Right to Work.
