The Office of the Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) is responsible for the management of 5-year MBBS programme. Working under the Associate Dean UGME, the office aims to support excellence in academic activities to ensure a strong learning experience for students, and teaching experience for faculty. The primary function of the Office is to plan, execute, lead and control all regular and periodic academic activities in addition to enforce, record and compile faculty and student evaluations for promotion and progression respectively. The office also monitors and maintains the quality of the academic programme through regular internal, national and international inspections and evaluations.


Reporting to the Manager, UGME, you will be responsible for:
  • providing technical expertise to lead and implement strategy for the development of technology enhanced learning in the Medical College, Pakistan
  • working with the UGME team for managing and supporting projects aimed at effective use of technology and innovation in the curriculum
  • supporting the use of VLE platform for courses of UGME Medical College, Pakistan
  • providing technical and administrative support in planning, running and executing UGME activities especially in committees and areas involving technology and communication
  • coordinating with multiple stakeholders to provide a single window for learning of students
  • helping faculty members to switch from conventional teaching methods to flipped classroom teaching methodology, and be hands-on with technological tools like Cyberpatients, VisualDx and UCAN
  • providing administrative and communication support to UGME, as and when needed.


You should have:
  • minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in related discipline
  • at least two to three years of relevant experience of working with Learning Management Systems (E-Learning/M-Learning Platforms Instructional Designing experience is preferable
  • understanding of pedagogy and online course development models is an added plus
  • experience of working on authoring tool such as Articulate Storyline 360
  • basic design & HTML development experience
  • experience in development and designing of courses on Moodle Learning Management system
  • the ability to work in teams and be willing to learn and explore technologies
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills with record of good customer orientation.
