Job Details
The University is migrating to a new toolset for Operational Reporting and Business Intelligence, and we are looking to develop our Microsoft Power BI capabilities with an energetic and highly motivated BI developer and analyst.
Previous Power BI experience is desirable, but not essential, as we currently have a complex estate to manage and maintain that includes Qlikview, SSRS, Cognos, Oracle Discoverer and Oracle reports.
We are looking to introduce a Power BI First approach to all new end-user requests. Can you help us successfully transition the service and the hearts and minds of our end-users?
The perfect candidate will have excellent SQL skills and a hands-on experience with one or more of our current technologies. They will have a proven track record in being responsible for the the full lifecycle of BI, from translating initial user requirement, through to report and dashboard design and provision, as well as providing insight and recommendations resulting from the analysis of the data
You will be part of a skilled and experienced team that are faced with high levels of demand and ever-changing end-user needs. This is an exciting and challenging time to join us and an excellent learning opportunity for an intelligent and self-motivated candidate.
