Are you someone with proven abilities to carry out teaching and research in Environmental Engineering for Buildings and related topics?
Do you have an excellent research record and a desire to develop interdisciplinary collaborations to engineer indoor environments for health, wellbeing and infection control?
Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University?
You will carry out research, teaching and management within the School of Civil Engineering and contribute to academic leadership in the field of Public Health and Environmental Engineering. We are seeking applicants who will build on our current strengths in environmental engineering, fluid dynamics and indoor air quality to develop leading research activities in the area of Indoor Environmental Quality related to Civil Engineering and at the interface with other disciplines. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with research interests that align to our strengths in pathogen transmission and control in the built environment.
You will have a PhD in a relevant discipline (or equivalent industrial research experience) and experience of developing collaborative research ideas and successfully delivering interdisciplinary projects. You will have experience of teaching undergraduate or postgraduate students in small and large class sizes. You will have evidence of input to or standing in the academic or professional community, having made a growing contribution to research in the area of Indoor Environments.
Interviews are expected to take place on Wednesday 27 January 2021.
