Clinical Psychologist and Interim Associate Head of Developments

I am working with a leading service in the UK who are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist and Associate Head of Developments to join their service. The service are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist and Associate Head of Developments on an interim arrangement for 6-7 months to aid in delivering high quality service to patients who experience Autism and Neuro Diversity.

Because the service are especially focused on getting the most out of their patients, you will help support the team through your knowledge and expertise with this Clinical Psychologist and Interim Associate Head of Developments role. With this opportunity you will be supporting and developing the team and department as part of the Senior Management Team, so that you can feel pride in being an industry expert that is directly responsible for the success of the service as a whole!

Your responsibilities would be:

  • To provide specialist assessments to inform psychological formulation and therapeutic interventions, in addition to evaluating their own practice and measuring outcomes.
  • To provide psychological consultation, lead reflective practice sessions and collaborative care planning, and deliver formal and informal specialist training to staff teams and individuals.
  • To apply knowledge of psychological theories to health and social care.
  • To develop comprehensive and professional psychological assessment reports which outline recommendations for future work.
  • To provide good organisational skills and work autonomously to manage the competing demands of the role.
  • To work within care teams and work closely with support staff, managers and senior managers.
  • To be able to contribute to statutory reviews and a range of other professional meetings.

Requirements:

  • Honours degree in psychology, recognised by the British Psychological Society and a recognised post-graduate professional qualification in Clinical Psychology.
  • Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience working within Autism.
