Salary: £30,500 to £43,500 per annum including Recruitment Bonuses

Requirements:

• Social Wok Qualification
• Extensive Post qualifying experience of working with Children and Families
• Experience working with Child Protection, Section 7s and Court Work
• Registration with Social Work England
• Completed ASYE

NonStop's client is seeking an Senior Qualified Social Worker to join their Outstanding Ofsted rated residential home, providing parenting assessment, court and viability assessments.

Duties:

• Running of the service complies with both council and statutory requirements.
• Provide supervision of staff, including responsibility for their induction, training and career development.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and in own supervision.
• Ensure that appropriately clear, analytical and evidence based reports are provided for assessments, reviews, and court proceedings
• Supervise assessments and support & intervention programmes, and provide particular areas of expertise in direct work
• Assist in evaluating and monitoring the work of the centre

As a Qualified Social Worker who will hold minimal cases and take the lead on assessments. You will work with families in a variety of ways including individual key work sessions, observations, parenting advise and practical family support. Services may be requested from the parenting assessment centre when considering whether to initiate care proceedings; when assessment is required by the Family Court or when reunification with birth family is being considered.

The residential centre has five self-contained flats (ranging from 1- 3 bedrooms) for residential assessments only a 5 minutes walk from Clapham Junction station.
