The role
The post-holder will work on PRIME-Parkinson (Proactive and Integrated Management and Empowerment in Parkinson's Disease), a programme of research which will see the implementation of a new integrated care model designed specifically for people with Parkinson's disease. PRIME-Parkinson is designed to manage problems proactively, deliver integrated, multidisciplinary care and empower patients and their carers.
This post offers an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team at the University of Bristol and collaborators at participating NHS hospitals. Training and mentorship will be available to meet the specific aims of the research programme as well as the overall career development of the post-holder.

What will you be doing?

- Provide epidemiological expertise to analyse data from PRIME-Parkinson workstreams and lead on the publication of these data in high quality, peer-reviewed, international journals.
- Provide input into the innovative care model through your post-doctoral knowledge of ageing, Parkinson's disease, falls and / or bone health.
- Contribute to grant applications, with the potential to lead on grant writing.
You should apply if
- You have a track record of excellence in research and proven experience of independent research
- You have knowledge and experience of epidemiology and significant expertise in data analyses
- You have post-doctoral knowledge of ageing, Parkinson's, falls and / or bone health.
- You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate verbally and in writing.
