Do you have a background in Health Psychology?
Are you interested in mental and physical health, food security and sustainable choices?
We are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to join the newly appointed Head of School Professor Jason Halford, to develop research into food choice, mental and physical health, and engendering sustainable outcomes at the level of the consumer. The research will be a collaboration with colleagues across the University of Leeds (Obesity, Public Policy and Nutrition research, and the new Global Food and Environment Institute), N8-Agrifood partners, and local and national stakeholders. Professor Jason Halford, who has interests in i) appetite control in obesity in the context of treatment, ii) stigma and weight bias, iii) psychological determinants of treatment outcome, iv) food choice, labelling, and marketing, and v) food insecurity, mental health, and inequalities.
You will act as the project manager for this research and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the research which will be based at Leeds University, and/or part of larger consortia, and will input into the design of experimental studies, large scale questionnaires, qualitative evaluations, and interventions.
