Quality Leader, Diagnostics instrumentation - Innovative Medical Devices & Growing company - German and English essential
Ours is a Medical devices manufacturer, based in an exceptionally scenic area of German Switzerland. Currently experiencing an extended period of growth, they have expanded their production capacity to cater for increased demand, and now seek a Quality Leader to take up a permanent position with responsibility for supervising product safety and approvals, in particular with regard to compliance with EU directives and international approvals such as CSA, and UL.
Product safety could entail environmental simulation, EMC, transport tests, biological safety tests, and more. Day to day tasks to include supporting project teams in the planning and implementation of system tests, product approvals and series tests for regulated products, development of safety plans, processing of safety issues, advising Production and process care departments on Quality-technical issues, and supporting Regulatory Affairs.
Typically we'd expect to see a career history of at least 5 years in Quality within a tightly regulated field, preferably with a technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering, a broad understanding of product safety issues, and a passion for quality and compliance.
Being able to work in both German and English is essential.
