CSE Social Worker Opportunity in North London

A well-established local authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join its Child Sexual Exploitation Team based in North East London.

The successful candidate will be working with children and young people who are exploited, gang affiliated and missing. They will be working to befriend and gain the trust of young people who have suffered significant trauma and are indoctrinated within gangs. This is a role where you can really make a difference to young people's lives, therefore is a great post if you are passionate about helping young people and you will experience the job satisfaction of doing so.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in mapping criminal activity and to make a real difference to young people's lives by understanding where crime is happening and why. This is therefore a post that is very different to a standard safeguarding social worker role and ideal if you are looking to step into a more varied and interesting post.

The post also offers great career progression opportunities. If you are looking for a Social Worker post with the opportunity to learn and later progress into more senior and management roles, this is a great opportunity for you.

A competitive salary of £32-35 per hour is offered for this post, depending on experience. It is a Locum post, meaning more flexibility and more money in your pocket at the end of every week!

To be considered you:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker
• Must be registered with Social Work England
• Must have at least 2 years experience in Child Protection and an understanding of gangs/CSE/county lines
