Senior Scientist - Gene and Cell Therapy - USP

New opening in Gene- and Cell-therapy! Looking for a Senior Scientist for USP department.

My client is a biotech CDMO with a global presence. They have a solid background in bio-pharmaceuticals, and working on some complex problems from their international client base. They are expanding into the cell-therapy and gene-therapy sector, and are investing heavily in this area with new facilities to accompany. They are a very horizontal company, where everyone gets involved in the process optimisation, and all are encouraged to share ideas and thoughts.

They are looking for an experienced Scientist for their Upstream Process of viral vectors. As it is new facilities you will be working with the latest technology. They are always interested in progressing with their process' and takes all suggestion on-board. This gives a great opportunity to work with process development, and gain experience with new equipment.

They are located in Basel, Switzerland, a city know for its bio-tech and pharmaceutical industry, as well as a vibrant cultural scene. They invite candidates from all over Europe, with English as the only language requirement.

They are looking for candidates with this profile:

• Either a P.hD. with 3+ years industry experience or MSc with 5+ years industry experience
• Experience working with USP for gene- and cell-therapy products (such as rAAV)
• A drive to make a difference in the industry
• You want to work in a fast paced and growing environment
• You have an innovative spirit, and can work independently
